Feliz año nuevo! Back in Athens after Christmas festivities (game after game of settlers--Aunt Cory you're a filthy wheat hoarder) for another semester and it's already lookin peachy. Trey's fraand and new roomie Natasha flew in from LA and we've been getting their apartment cozy. This means table building, Krogers shopping sprees, Mattress heckling, and above all, pet purchasing. The newest addition to the RivMill 158 fam are Blanca and Steve. Blanca's a pearlwhite Beta fish with a spicy Colombian personality. Her hobbies include raving in her pink-rocked fishbowl and bothering Steve. Steve is a brown-freckled frog who enjoys floating, not moving, drifting, and laying down. The best way to describe their relationship is Gloria and Jay from Modern Fam. Blanca is definitely the trophy wife. Binx (Trey's cat) hasn't met them yet I'm sure Blanca will win her over when they do, she's just that kinda fish.
Also, we developed pics from Natasha's disposable cam yesterday and they came out fantastico! They're various pics of Athens nights and when we went to Big City Bread for some munchin/bread purchasing/chalk drawin. We wrote that quote "You are a child of the universe, no less than the trees and the stars..." in chalk on the wall outside and I got a tasty blueberry cheesecake bite.
Tomorrow's the first day of classes. fings crossedddddddd
